A command available on Extreme platforms; used to initiate telnet and other connections from the device where the command is executed, to another host.

telnet ip_address [port]
Usage Examples
telnet 2.2.2.2 10000 - Telnet to host 2.2.2.2 on port 10000

The show session command can be used to display active inbound connections
The clear session command can be used to disconnect active inbound connections
