Show running-config command

From NetworkCommands

Image:Cisco-logo-large.gif

A command available on most Cisco platforms; used to display the configuration currently in use by the device and stored in RAM. This configuration could differ from the startup configuration used when the device starts/boots up. The running configuration can be changed by a user, an SNMP PUT command and other methods and can also be dynamically adjusted by local software features such as port security. See the Cisco device configuration files article for further details on how configurations are stored and can be used, controlled and managed.
