A command available on most Cisco platforms; used to display in-depth device, interface, cpu and memory information. This output is typically used by end users or Cisco Technical Assistance staff to diagnose issues with the device.

show tech-support [options]

Common options include;

  • password - also display passwords and SNMP communities
  • page - display output one page at a time

By default, passwords and SNMP communities are not displayed in the output. Use the password option to have these displayed.

By default, the output is not paginated. Use the page option to have the output displayed one page at a time.
