Show switch command

A command available on most Extreme switch platforms; used to display platform, power, temperature, license, SNMP , software version number and other useful information.

show switch

Command Equivalents

The uncommon Cisco show chassis command could be considered an equivalent of this command. However, in most cases numerous commands would need to be executed to gather the same level of information, these commands would include;

• The show run command
• The show environment command
• The show version command
• The show clock command
• The show power command
