Show power command

A command available on most Cisco modular switch and router platforms; used to display information on power status, resources, supplies and usage.

show power [option]

The available options are;

  • available - display available power, the same as capabilities
  • capabilities - display power supply capabilities, a summary of the power being used and the power available
  • detail - display detailed information on power, consider this the all option
  • inline - display inline power status
  • module - display power consumed by modules
  • status - display power supply status
  • supplies - display the number of power supplies needed to power the system
