Show interface status command

A command available on most Cisco switch platforms; used to display the description, status, vlan, speed, duplex and type of multiple interfaces, in a simple table format.

show interfaces status [options]

Common options are;

  • err-disabled - display only interfaces in the error disabled state
  • module number - display only interfaces for the specified module

show interfaces status - show status information for all interfaces

show interfaces status module 1 - show status information for module 1 interfaces only

The error disable detect feature is enabled with the errdisable detect command
