Set config-lock command

A CLISH command available on most Nokia IPSO platforms; used to acquire an exclusive configuration lock on the device, from the CLI, to prevent other administrative users from making configuration changes, for a limited period of time.

set config-lock [options]

The available options are;

  • [on | off] - enable or disable configuration lock
  • on timeout <5-900> - enable configuration lock for the specified number of seconds, the default is 300
  • on override - override an existing configuration lock, this will effectively disable configuration lock

set config-lock 600 - enable configuration lock for 600 seconds (10 minutes)

Use the show config-lock command to display current configuration lock status and expiration (if lock status is on)
