Send command

From NetworkCommands

A command available on most Cisco platforms; used to send a message to users connected to console or vty lines.

Usage Syntax

send * | line-number | console | vty vty-number

Usage Examples

send * - send a message to all lines

Usage Notes

You will be prompted to enter your message after entering this command.

Command Equivalents

The Linux command equivalent is the wall command
