Restore-defaults command

A command available on Blue Coat ProxySG platforms; used to return the device to it's default configuration (factory default settings.)

Usage Syntax

restore-defaults [factory-defaults | force | keep-console [force]]
The available options are;
- factory-defaults - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration
- force - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration, without displaying confirmation prompts
- keep-console - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration except settings related to the telnet, SSH, HTTP and HTTPS consoles
Usage Examples
restore-defaults force - restore the device to it's factory default configuration, without displaying confirmation prompts
Usage Notes
If no option is specified, a 'factory-defaults' restore occurs.
Command Equivalents
The F5 platform command equivalent is the Sys-reset Script
The Extreme switch platform command equivalent is the unconfigure switch command
