A command available on Blue Coat ProxySG platforms; used to return the device to it's default configuration (factory default settings.)

restore-defaults [factory-defaults | force | keep-console [force]]

The available options are;

  • factory-defaults - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration
  • force - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration, without displaying confirmation prompts
  • keep-console - Restore the device to it's factory default configuration except settings related to the telnet, SSH, HTTP and HTTPS consoles

If no option is specified, a 'factory-defaults' restore occurs.

The Extreme switch platform command equivalent is the unconfigure switch command
