A command available on Extreme platforms; used to reboot the device.

Usage Syntax

reboot [cancel | time ]

Usage Examples

reboot time 1 / 2 / 2006 23 : 20 - Reboot the switch at 23:20 on 1st February 2006

reboot cancel - Cancel any timed reboots

reboot - Reboot device now

Command Equivalents

The Cisco CSS command equivalent has the same name: reboot command, Cisco CSS

The Linux (including F5 BigIP) command equivalent has the same name: reboot command, Linux

The Cisco general IOS based platform equivalent is the reload command
