A command available on most Nortel Alteon based platforms; used to display a list of commands previously entered at the command line.

The default previous command buffer is 10.

The up and down arrows can be used to scroll through commands in the buffer.

!! Can be used to execute the last command in the buffer

!n Can be used to execute the nth command in the buffer

The Linux (including F5 BigIP) platform command equivalent has the same name: history command, Linux

The Extreme platform command equivalent has the same name: history command, Extreme

The Cisco IOS equivalent command is the show history command
