A command available on most Cisco IOS based platforms; used to return an interface to it's default configuration, thus removing any existing non-default configuration.

Use this command with caution, specifying the wrong interface or an interface that your connection to the device is relying upon could prevent you accessing the device or cause serious disruption in your network.
