Column Fields Are:

  • Idle - CPU Time idle
  • Unix - CPU Time dedicated to user space (non kernal) processes
  • BIGIP - CPU Time used by the main traffic processing functions of the kernel
  • NET - CPU Time used by basic networking functions such as ARP
    • A high value indicates a large amount of probably unwanted or unnecessary traffic (DoS attack or SYN flood for instance)
  • DV_NET - CPU time used by the network drivers
    • A high value indicates a large amount of invalid (malformed) traffic
  • INT - CPU time used for interrupt handling
    • A high value indicates a possible hardware problem

Row Fields Are:

  • Max BIGIP - Lists the value of all counters at the time the BIGIP value reached it's maximum
  • Max NET - Lists the value of all counters at the time the NET value reached it's maximum
  • Max DV_NET - Lists the value of all counters at the time the DV_NET value reached it's maximum
