Clear session command

From NetworkCommands

A command available on most Extreme switch platforms; used to disconnect or close existing inbound telnet and ssh connections to the device where the command is executed.

Usage Syntax

clear session active_connection_number

Usage Examples

disconnect 3012

Usage Notes

Connection numbers can be obtained using the show session command

Connection numbers do not change based on disconnections. Connection number 3 is not renumbered when connections 1 and 2 are disconnected.

Command Equivalents

The Cisco command equivalent is the disconnect command
