Image:Vm-power-on-medium.png Usage Syntax

bigstart action [service]

If no service is specified, the action is performed on all services in the default service group.

Common actions include:

  • list - display a list of all services, their description, whether they are set to start on system boot and whether they are in the default service group
  • start and startup - start the specified service
  • restart - restart the specified service
  • stop and shutdown - stop the specified service
  • status - display status information for the specified service
  • memstat - display memory status information for the specified service

bigstart list - display a list of all available services

bigstart restart - restart all services

Use this command to disable LTM functions while maintaining access to the system by using syntax: bigstart stop. Note however that SCP/SFTP doesn't seem to work with LTM down.
